Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is suitable for children and young adults. It is safe, positive and forward thinking.
In sessions we don’t focus on the problem but work towards what is wanted instead. I explain, in an age appropriate way, how the brain works and how this can create worry, anger or sadness. Most importantly we can do something about it to make things better!
Children have fantastic imaginations which they use on a daily basis. Children don’t usually have preconceptions about hypnosis which means they are open to hypnotherapy and sessions progress quite quickly.
Hypnotherapy can be used for many conditions in children and young people including anxiety and worries, fears and confidence.

I explain how individual sessions with a child or young person are structured which may help you decide whether hypnotherapy may benefit your child. The workshop includes a relaxation session and breathing exercises you can use at home for yourself and the wider family.
