If you can’t see above what you would like help with, or you have any questions about whether hypnotherapy can help you please get in touch to discuss. Hypnotherapy can help with many challenges. I am happy to have a no obligation call so you can decide whether you want to book the initial consultation with me.
The Initial Consultation lasts approximately 45- 50 minutes so you can determine whether Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is for you. In this session I will ask some questions about what you want help with and what your goal is from the therapy. I will ask some general background questions too and explain how our brains work to create anxiety or stress responses. Importantly you can understand that we can do something about this! You will also have access to the relaxation audio MP3 to use at home to supplement your sessions.
General conditions typically take 8 sessions, sometimes more, sometimes less depending on the condition. After the Initial consultation, each session follows a standard format and includes the relaxing hypnosis trance.
Specific phobias (e.g flying, spiders, heights ) typically take 3 sessions after the Initial consultation.
Stopping smoking or vaping is one single session of 90 – 120 minutes.
For all treatments you need to be committed to the sessions and willing to make changes in your thinking and behaviour.
All discussions within the therapy sessions are totally confidential.
